Apprenticeship Program

Please note: we are no longer accepting applications for the 2011-2012 Apprenticeship. Please check back spring 2012 for future openings!

The purpose of this 8-11 month long program is to prepare the next generation of leaders for urban ministry. Keep on reading and download a brochure to learn more!

What is a CSM Apprentice?

If you are looking for a longer-term, more intentional urban ministry experience - this opportunity is for you!

The primary purpose of the CSM apprenticeship is to prepare the next generation of Christian urban leaders. The program is designed as a hands-on learning and training program that will prepare women and men in leadership skills and development, personal and spiritual growth, and hands-on experience while also assisting CSM and city partners in the work of serving often-forgotten people in the city they serve.

Time Frame

8-11 months Though each city can be flexible about how long the experience will be all (8 months or more), the schedule will follow the natural cycle of CSM. Apprentices should expect to begin in October and be in the program through either May (when we finish up our spring season) or August (when we wrap up our busy summer season).
