Tyler Clark
Tyler Aspinwall Clark was born in
Bedford, New Hampshire. He recently graduated from North Park University and will
be attending medical school in the fall. He majored in Biology and minored in
Chemistry. During his college career he went on two mission trips. One was a
medical missions trip to Lesotho, Africa and the other was a trip that focused on
helping Haitian refugees in the Bahamas. Tyler’s experience working with junior/senior
high youth includes time spent befriending local Chicago youth, coaching an electric
wheelchair soccer team and volunteering at numerous sites around the city. His hobbies
include freestyle skiing, rock climbing, ping-pong, long boarding, road/xc/freeride
cycling and reading classic American novels. The main reason that Tyler joined CSM is
because he is passionate about serving Christ through interacting with others and
teaching/exposing others to the many diverse facets of God’s creation. |
Emily Paul
Emily graduated in 2005 from Taylor
University with a degree in social work, and spent four months following graduation
in Rio de Janeiro serving with Word Made Flesh. She was also fortunate to spend the
summer of 2003 teaching English in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Along with her experiences
overseas, Emily's had the opportunity to work at a youth camp for two summers and
also assistant teach high school students with disabilities. She enjoys exploring
the city, reading, writing, cooking, teaching ESL, and clumsily learning how to
snowboard! CSM was the first experience that grew her love for the city, for the
poor and when she first encountered Christ! Emily wholeheartedly believes that Christ
reveals Himself clearly in the midst of brokenness, and is thrilled to walk alongside
students as they unveil the Lord in a new and unfamiliar setting. |
