As we give thanks this month, we at CSM praise
our Father above for the opportunity to be His hands and feet in the city. What
an honor it is to serve Him! In the wise words of Billy Graham, "The greatest
form of praise is the sound of consecrated feet seeking
out the lost and helpless.”
Thank YOU for joining us to seek out the "lost and
helpless" of North America's urban centers.
For this month's CSM Impact interview, we have the opportunity to get to
know
Jason Porterfield, former CSM City Host.

City
Highlight: Washington, DC
This fall has been a great time of rest and rejuvenation
for our city staff.
This fall we have been blessed with great weather, great ministry and great times. One of our
most fun times this fall has been working with DC Central Kitchen and helping with their annual food fight.
Jason Porterfield was listening to the
chapel speaker at Messiah College,
when it hit him – God is calling him to the city. The ironic thing? This speaker was an Amish
farmer. Not only that! God had plucked that farmer off the farm and dropped him into the
inner-city to serve Him and His people.
There is still time to sign up for your Spring 2009 mission trip! Call the home office
to find out the availability of the city you want to serve in.
