City Highlight: Denver |
The urban poor are often unseen. Drive through any major city in the US and you will most likely see people on street corners with cardboard signs asking for handouts. You might even see someone pushing a cart full of their possessions down the street. These homeless are visible and their plights are easy to see even if they are often times ignored.

Canceled Your Mission Trip Abroad? |
 There are many factors that are not allowing groups to serve abroad this year - the economy and violence across our borders just to name a few. Just because your group had to cancel their trip abroad, doesn't mean you can't serve! CSM still has quite a bit of space for summer trips. A group of students from Waynesburg College serves with CSM faithfully each year over their spring break. This year, they hit the streets of Philadelphia, giving a week of love and labor back to the community. Pittsburgh's Channel 2 News reported on their sacrificial gift of service in this nightly news report!
