It's exciting to be with a group as they engage in their first conversation with a new homeless friend. Or breaking bread (or pita) together as the group tries Armenian food for the first time. Or even meeting a family that recently arrived to this country and all struggling together to have a conversation while teaching English as a Second Language.  Many of CSM's cities still have space available for groups to come in and serve the week of July 4th. As you celebrate the US's birthday, your group could be giving back to some of the most historic urban centers in this nation!

If you are passionate about social justice, then you have probably at least heard of the issue of human trafficking and slavery. The fact this topic is widely spoken of means that those desiring human trafficking awareness are doing their jobs, but there is so much more to do. This issue is a very real, very present issue in our world today. Whether or not you are currently passionate about social justice or fighting human trafficking, keep reading.
