Hello!
The month of May means getting ready for the
craziness (and excitement!) of summer here at CSM.
Our summer staff begin to arrive and get trained to
help lead the numerous summer groups that visit our
city sites. They are an awesome group of
individuals dedicated to serving those in the urban
center and sharing their passion with youth.
For our City Highlight this month we're heading on
over to Music City - Nashville! Read a letter from
one of the City Directors, get an in-depth glimpse
at one of the ministries CSM serves at and read some
local news articles. We'd love to have you come
serve with us in this "big city with a small town feel"!
And don't get discouraged - though some weeks have
filled, it is still possible to sign up for a summer
trip! If you haven't registered yet, please call the

For those of you who haven't visited or served with
us here, let me go ahead and squash a myth - folks
are not just sitting around Nashville with guitars,
wearing boots (or no shoes at all) and cowboy hats.
In fact, when groups serve with us, rarely do they
run into folks in “the biz”.

CSM LA was recently honored as "Group of the Year"
by Project Angel Food, a non-profit organization
located in Hollywood, CA. CSM has been serving through
Project Angel Food for the past 3 years - delivering
nutritious meals to terminally ill individuals in
the LA area.

CSM is offering a High School Internship this summer
in Houston, TX. If you are 16 years of age or older
please check out this unique opportunity! For two
weeks you will be living in the city and gain an
in-depth knowledge of urban ministry. Follow the
