The best view of CSM's ministry is definitely at street level. I was reminded of this over the last couple of weeks as I helped to host two CSM groups serving in New York City. We can get pretty busy in the spring, so Kyle (VP of Operations) , Greg Pennington (our Houston-based VP) and I will sometimes fill the gaps to ensure that every group has at least one CSM City Host with them throughout their trip. (The fact that these two groups got a middle-aged fud for their host is another story.)

CSM Los Angeles will be hosting the 2007 High School Internship from July 1-14. This opportunity is designed for individuals 16 and older who are looking for that "next step" in serving in urban ministry.

One of my favorite parts about being a city director is finding new ministry sites and restaurants. Each year we try to add a few more sites in order to reach different areas of the city and keep trips fresh and exciting for returning groups. By adding these new sites we are able to broaden the spectrum of service opportunities.
