| CSM Summer 2007 City Hosts
|
 One of the unique aspects of serving on a CSM trip is that your group is assigned a "City Host". City Hosts have the responsibility of being the bridge between our serving groups and the ministries we connect them with. Each of these young adults have a passion for urban ministry and we are excited to have them with us! Check out the city you'll be serving in and click on the "City Staff" link towards the bottom of the page to see who's joined the CSM team this year!

Youth Group Named Volunteers of the Year

| Recently, a Rockford, IL youth group was names "Volunteers of the Year" by the Northern Illinois Food Bank. What an encouragement to see young people serving the Lord while they serve their community. How are you currently serving your community? Let us know!

| City Highlight: Chicago |
 Chicago is home to the largest population of Polish people
outside of Poland,
has the world's largest illuminated fountain, and at one time had some of the
largest and poorest public housing projects.
Places like Cabrini Green, Stateway
Gardens, and The Robert
Taylor Homes have become some of the examples of how not to do public
housing. Because of this the city of Chicago is tearing most
of the public housing down, and replacing it with high end condominiums.

| "City Scenes" Video Contest

Gearing up for this year's CSM trip?? Well pack that camera, 'cause it's showtime! That's right - CSM is hosting it's first ever "City Scenes" Video Contest. It's simple:
1. Serve on a CSM trip this summer and record your experience.
2. Post your video on GodTube.com and email us to let us know that it's there.
3. Check out each month's Email Announcements to find out if we've selected you as the Video of the Month!
