CSM City Journal
October 2007

Hello!
As CSM heads into the fall months, we can't help but get excited to see what God is doing in the city! Groups are coming from near and far to lend a hand, a listening ear and a loving heart. We are thrilled to see individuals (young and "young at heart"!) gaining a passion and a vision to bring about restoration in urban centers throughout North America.

To celebrate the official arrival of autumn - we bring you New York as the City Highlight for the month (who doesn't love NY in the fall?) If you'd like to learn more about serving with CSM in the "City That Never Sleeps", please visit our website.

Now is the time to register for your Spring 2008 trip! Hurry, though, many dates have already filled. If you haven't registered yet, please call the Home Office (949-248-8200) to find out which dates are still available.

CSM Begins Leadership Transition Process
After 19 years of service, 12 as president and CEO, Noel Becchetti has sensed God's prompting to conclude his work at CSM and seek God's next adventure and the board has reluctantly accepted this decision. Therefore, with the full support of Noel and involvement of the board, we have begun a careful succession process for the coming year that will ensure a smooth and effective transition for the leadership of CSM.

A note from Noel and Kyle:

We are really excited about where God is leading CSM, and us, as we begin this transition process. We have a fabulous board and wonderful staff who are the real drivers of this ministry, and we are looking forward to seeing who God will install as the new leadership of CSM.
We are happy to interact with you on any of this--if you have Qs, input, or just want to chat. You can reach us at
Noel@csm.org or Kyle@csm.org anytime.
Blessings,
Noel Becchetti
