Noel Becchetti - president
Noel Becchetti became president of CSM in February 1996 when CSM's founder,
Ridge Burns, headed into the foothills of the San Bernadino Mountains
to become executive director of Forest Home Christian Conference Center.
Noel's involvement with CSM began with its inception in 1988, when he served
as a board member and volunteer city host in Los Angeles (CSM's first Ministry
Center). His day job at the time was with Youth Specialties, a youth-ministry
resource provider serving youth workers around the world. Noel spent nearly
13 years with the YS gang before moving on to CSM full-time (which explains some
of his nervous habits).
After Noel and Kyle married, they headed to Chicago to found
CSM's Chicago Ministry Center in 1992, returning to southern California in 1995.
Somewhere in there, Noel and a friend managed to convince the Romania government
to invite them and eight other guys to visit Romania in June 1992 to run some
baseball clinics (combined with Young Life-style outreach meetings) for the
Romanian Baseball Federation. (Ask him about it sometime.)
Noel has two children, a daughter, Elise, and a son, Evan.

Greg Pennington - vice-president
- staff
Greg is the guy who should have led the Romanian baseball outreach in 1992,
seeing as he is an accomplished baseball player. A native Houstonian, Greg
started for Baylor University in the '70's, appearing in both the 1977 and 1978
College World Series, and had at least a fighting chance to make the Bigs except
that God was directing him elsewhere.
After graduating and marrying Katrina in 1979, Greg earned
his Master of Religious Education and Masters of Divinity. He spent nearly 15
years in a variety of ministries - serving as youth and associate pastor in local
churches, club director for Young Life, and hospital chaplain before he found
his true home in CSM. Greg's experience with Houston urban ministries and his
great reputation with urban leaders throughout Houston enabled him to quickly
build a top-quality Ministry Center in Houston. In November 2000 Greg took over
the leadership of CSM's staff.
Greg and his wife, Katrina, have two children--son Jordan
(also an accomplished baseball player) and daughter Kelsey (an accomplished
adventurer, singer, and all-around live wire).

 Kyle Becchetti - vice-president
- operations
Kyle has been involved full-time with CSM since May 1992, when she and Noel
headed to Chicago to start CSM's Ministry Center there. Prior to her full-time
status, she served as a volunteer city host in Los Angeles (in fact, one of she
and Noel's first Big Dates was spent sorting through rotting vegetables at a food
distribution center while co-hosting a group in L.A.).
In her previous life, Kyle practiced law, first as a deputy
city attorney for the City of San Diego, then as an assistant city attorney for
the San Diego County communities of El Cajon and Imperial Beach. She was then
healed from lawyerdom and became an urban missionary (although she still holds
her licenses in California and Illinois and can tell you that there are some great
lawyers out there!).
She's a fan of North Park University (northpark.edu) and the St. John's Illuminated Bible (saintjohnsbible.org).

Maryanne McLaren - home office
director
Maryanne is a fifteen-year veteran of CSM and, frankly, holds the whole thing
together. She supplied organizational management and administrative support for
Christian schools and youth-ministry training organizations prior to finding her
true home at CSM, where she's been for over 15 years.
Maryanne grew up in the Bronx (yeah, da Bronx) and has a real
heart for the inner-city. She's excited about being a part of what God is doing
in the inner cities we're able to serve, and she loves telling youth workers about
CSM. She's also excellent at it, and is the person with the answers.
You can reach her by phone at 949-248-8200, fax at 949-248-7753, or email at
Maryanne at csm.org
Maryanne asked us not to discuss her stint in the Hell's
Angels or her experiences at Woodstock, so we won't.

Sandra Cox - assistant home
office director
Sandra joined CSM in October of 2002 and, frankly, Maryanne couldn't hold the
whole thing together without her! Sandra grew up in California and graduated
from California State University Bakersfield with a degree in Chemistry.
She used to be an application and database developer.
In 2002, she reunited with her college sweetheart, moved back
out to California from Houston, TX, started with CSM and then got married in 2003.
She's an identical twin and likes listening to contemporary Christian music. She
shares her life not only with her husband, Dan, but with her two adorable kitties
as well. By the way, Maryanne's not the only person with all of the answers -
Sandra's got a few of 'em too!
You can reach her by phone at 949-248-8200, fax at 949-248-7753, or email at
Sandra at csm.org

Sarah Sotelo - home office
assistant
Sarah joined the CSM Home Office team in October 2005. Originally from Granby, CT, Sarah
graduated from Gordon College with a degree in Communication Arts.
Sarah loves to travel (she's been throughout Latin America
and has driven cross-country twice), the Boston Red Sox, speaking Spanish, a hot
cup of fair trade coffee and New England in the fall.
In November 2006, Sarah was married to her wonderful husband,
Karlos. The two met while she was interning at an orphanage in Chihuahua, Mexico.
They both have a heart for ministry and a desire to "give a voice to the voiceless".
Sarah's very excited to be a part of CSM and to help students discover
the role God has for them in urban ministry.
You can reach her by phone at 949-248-8200, fax at 949-248-7753,
or email at Sarah at csm.org
