Lisa Trump grew up in Tinley Park, IL, a suburb south of Chicago. Her
neighborhood was full of boys, which explains why she likes sports and
the outdoors so much. She has a great family - a younger brother and older
sister. She loves to read, exercise and spend time with people. |
Rebecca Hayes is originally from Skiatook, Oklahoma, a small town north
of Tulsa. When she was eight, she moved to Tulsa with her mom. She attends
Oklahoma State University and plans to graduate in 2005 with a Human Development
and Family Science major, with an option in Child and Family Services.
She enjoys "randomness", playing ultimate Frisbee (if the weather
is nice) and talking to people. She counts her family and friends as huge
blessings and loves hanging with Jesus and serving Him. |
Amanda Hood grew up in Arcadia, Louisiana, then moved to Ruston (LA) to
go to school. She's a senior at Louisiana Tech University majoring in
graphic design and minoring in sociology. She plans to go to seminary
and then into full-time ministry. Her passions are people and photography.
Amanda also works at a day care center to satisfy her need to have cute
children around her all the time. Her family is awesome and really supportive.
Her missions experience includes Toronto, Ruston and San Antonio. |
Brooke Barber is from Wichita Falls, Texas. She'll be a junior at Texas
Tech and is majoring in Human Development and Family Studies. What she
really wants to do is be a missionary in the inner-city somewhere. Her
favorite thing to do is to laugh - she says, "Think about it, it's
free, it's fun and you can do it anytime, anywhere. Can't beat that, can
you?" |
Megan Breed will be a senior at Baylor University
in Waco, Texas studying journalism and sociology. The middle child of
three, her family just moved to Allen, Texas from Oklahoma. She's an avid
reader and writer and would love to be published someday. If you're in
one of her groups, you might be the subject of one of her writings! Megan
first served with CSM during high school and throughout the years has
come to love serving God in other countries as well as in the city. At
school, she's involved in an organization called Mission Waco and has
learned so much through her time spent with that ministry. This is Megan's
second summer working here Houston with CSM and there's no other place
she'd rather be! |
Sarah King grew up on a ranch in Weatherford,
TX with a brother and 4 sisters. She came to Houston, through CSM, with her senior
class in high school. From that experience she knew she wanted to return and serve
with CSM for a summer. This last spring she spent an amazing and challenging semester
working for the Texas Legislature and is looking forward to going to school in the
fall at Dallas Baptist University. |
