Paul Whiting - Paul is serving
with CSM this spring after discovering a passion for urban ministry at the
Urbana '03 Missions Conference. Born and raised in Mission Viejo, CA, he
graduated from Amherst College in 2004, where he majored in Neuroscience
and played football, indoor track, and baseball. At Amherst Paul served
on the leadership team with InterVarsity, and led a Bible study for Athletes
In Action. This past summer he ventured to Nicaragua and Venezuela on a
baseball mission trip with AIA. Paul is excited to serve in the city and
he's looking forward to getting to know Houston and the beautiful mosaic
of cultures and people that call this city home. He hopes to gain a more
in-depth understanding of urban issues and to bring that knowledge along
with him as he begins medical school in the fall. Paul enjoys playing sports
and anything that involves being outdoors in the beautiful sunshine.
