Lily Bond

Lily is from Kenmore, WA. She graduated in May 2009 from Washington State University, with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Spanish. She hopes to attend law school in the fall of 2010. For the past four years Lily has been an active part of Campus Christian Fellowship, being involved in campus ministry. She also has been a youth group leader at her church for the past two years. She absolute loves these things: social justice, learning new things, reading (history, political, theology, non-fiction), and outdoors adventures. Lily served as a City Host in Los Angeles this past fall and is excited to be a part of the Spring 2010 team as well. “There are great things to be done in this city. I am thrilled to see how students’ lives will be changed, for the benefit of Christ’s kingdom.”

Heather Knight

Heather grew up in Cincinnati, OH. She just graduated in December from Geneva College with a degree in Human Services and Spanish. Heather worked for CSM in DC in the summer of 2006 and loved it. She recently returned from spending 4 months in Central America and LA seems like a great place to use her Spanish while she has the opportunity to serve. She has worked with several non-profits serving inner city children and youth as well. She likes art and traveling. In the future Heather hopes to be part of a community-based non-profit focusing on the community's children and youth. “In my time in LA I am excited to see how God encourages me and gives me guidance about how He will use me both now and in the future.”

Crystal Winton

Crystal grew up in Birmingham, AL. In 2008, she graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Secondary Education Language Arts. Her mission experiences abroad include working in Honduras, Mozambique, Uganda, and Kenya. She has worked with several different nonprofit organizations in the US along the way. From 2008-2009 she served as the language arts teacher on a mission team in Uganda. She has worked quite a bit with middle school and high school students both in the classroom and at church. During her later college years, she was active in campus ministry and led women’s Bible studies. Crystal enjoys teaching teens, playing with kids, spending time with family, watching Alabama football, traveling God’s magnificent world, learning all that she can, and loving God’s children. “There is no higher calling than to live out God’s love and to love His people. I am excited to be serving alongside my brothers and sisters in Los Angeles, and I’m looking forward to see what can happen when we answer God’s calling together.”
