Left to right: Hanna, Shruti, Meredith, Mark, Jennifer and Michael

Shruti Chandna
Shruti was born in India but grew up in the U.S. She graduated from Millsaps College with a B.S. degree in biology and pursued a M.S. in Biology from Mississippi College. Shruti is currently applying for dental school. She has been involved in the twenties ministry for the past three years as a community service organizer and Bible study leader. Shruti loves to sing and dance and also enjoys fashion and watching football. “Serving the Lord is the passion of my heart. I am thankful that God has given me an opportunity to serve Him by working for CSM. I pray that I am able to give to CSM as much as I receive. I would like to use my experiences to ultimately pursue dental missions in India.”

Jennifer Eure
Jennifer was born and raised in Raleigh, NC and now attends Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. She just finished her freshman year of college where she is studying communications. She has been on several mission trips to places like New Orleans, Washington, D.C, and San Francisco which was through CSM. She also participates in local missions around Raleigh and Boone like visiting shut-ins and doing household chores for those who can’t do them for themselves. She has recently joined the leadership team at her campus ministry, the Wesley Foundation, and is excited to see where that will take her. She has a heart for middle school and high school students and enjoys going back to her old youth group to help out with missions and youth events. After God, her family and friends she loves music the most and plays guitar and sings in her spare time. She has a heart for service and loves to make people feel good.

Hanna McCuin
Hanna is a senior at Free Will Baptist Bible College in Nashville, TN. She is pursuing a double major of Psychology and Theology with exciting plans to graduate in the spring of 2012. Hanna is an Arkansas native, but has called several different locations “home” since the age of 13, due to her father’s career. She has a heart to spread the compassion of Christ to college age groups, as well as showing the light of Christ through the darkness that mental health may bring, particularly in the homeless youth population. While mission trips to Spain, Japan and Utah showed her a peculiar sense in which Christ is working among the nations through several ministries, she has learned the most about ministering by founding a student ministry on her campus called Mosaic. Mosaic meets every other Monday to listen to devotions and worship lead by peers. Mosaic has taken several trips to downtown Nashville to distribute lunches to the homeless population that fills Nashville streets, as well as sponsoring events to benefit needy children in Mississippi. Mosaic has been quite the learning experience and Hanna has thoroughly enjoyed watching the love of Jesus spread through the ministry He laid upon her heart. She loves painting, reggae music, thrift stores and all things vintage! “I am excited to work with CSM this summer to catch a glimpse of God working in the lives of youth, staff and the people of Nashville.”

Mark Weststeyn
Mark is from Visalia, CA and just completed his second year of college at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ. He is majoring in Exercise Science with hopes to one day earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Mark has been on numerous mission trips ranging from San Diego to the Dominican Republic and has loved every single one. He was a college leader for his home church’s Junior High Service Trip last summer and really got involved with the High School students of his church in Flagstaff. He’ developed a passion to serve younger students. Mark enjoys being outdoors and doing everything including skiing, hiking, bouldering and what every college kid loves, frisbee. “I’m stoked to be working with CSM this summer and hope to build strong relationships centered in Christ and further my passion for working with students. I’m also excited to be in Nashville if not simply because it’s a brand new place with lots of exciting opportunities.”
