Justin Perry – Philadelphia city director and city director coordinator
Justin grew up in the far lands for southern New Jersey. He received a degree for Eastern university in Youth ministry and is currently working on a masters of nonprofit management there as well. Justin got married in 2005 to Krista (CSM Philly’s former City Director) and in March of 2009 they had their first child, Jack. He loves being a father (even though at times it is stressful) and loves seeing Jack grow everyday. Justin enjoys doing renovations on his house and loves hanging out on their new patio. He has a heart for the city of Philadelphia and for CSM. He is very excited to be with CSM again and to help groups serve the people of Philadelphia.

Kelsey Eriksen – Philadelphia associate city director
Kelsey Eriksen is from the Kansas town of Hutchinson. She graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.S. in Marketing and a minor in Religious Studies. As a high school student, Kelsey went on several CSM trips which sparked her interest in urban outreach. In the summer of 2010, she served as a city host in Philadelphia where she was able to learn more about God’s kingdom and loving people. A few of Kelsey’s favorite things include live music, good conversations, enjoying the outdoors, learning new things, and coffee. She also welcomes Wizard of Oz jokes. Kelsey is excited to be back with CSM and Philadelphia as Associate City Director, and looks forward to learning more about serving Jesus every day!

Emily Alton – Apprentice
Emily is from Murray, KY. She attended Murray State University for one year and is currently taking a break. When she returns, she will be majoring in Psychology and Youth and Non-Profit Leadership. Emily has been to Jackson, TN and Memphis, TN for mission trips, where she discovered her passion for urban missions. Emily has been on staff at Lakeshore United Methodist Assembly for the past two summers, where she has absolutely adored working with all the campers and staff. She enjoys singing, hugs, ten second dance parties, Chaco tans, hammocks, coffee, and curling up with a good book. Emily served with CSM as a City Host during Spring 2011 and Summer 2011. We are excited to have her back as an Apprentice! “I’m excited to be immersed in a new community and to learn and grow alongside the staff, leaders, and students that come to CSM. I believe that each person has a light inside their heart, and I look forward to seeing all of those lights shining in Philly! I’m so blessed to have this opportunity!”

Nicole Engelhardt – Apprentice
Nicole is from Langhorne, PA. She was a senior at Vassar College in New York studying Biology and Secondary Education. Nicole has done a similar program in Los Angeles working with middle and high school students in preparation for doing service in Tijuana. Some of her favorite moments have been the mission trips to Maine with my youth group. She has also gotten to do some really awesome service days in Philadelphia and was even a City Host for CSM in Philadelphia during Summer 2010 and 2011. Some of Nicole’s hobbies include playing lacrosse and the guitar. On campus, she organizes the Christian Fellowship’s weekly meetings. “I am excited to get to know the students coming each week. I’m also passionate about breaking down the divide between the city and the nearby suburbs.”
