Katie Adams
Katie is from Pewee Valley, KY. She is a junior
at Murray State University, majoring in Social Work. Over the years,
she has done missions trips with Habitat for Humanity and has gone to
Poland, France, and Costa Rica. Katie has taught VBS for children and
has worked with her youth group after she went to college. She’s very
involved in creative ministries and has been leading a college team for
the past two years. Her interests include reading, swimming, and just
being outside. “My goal this summer is to be used by God in a way that
I cannot imagine. I am excited about God preparing for what is to come
and I hope that I can be a servant to the kids and my fellow teammates
this summer in Philadelphia.”

Jennifer Decker
Jennifer is originally from Friendswood, TX, but is now a
proud longhorn at the University of Texas at Austin. She is studying elementary
education with hopes of teaching inner city kids. Jennifer has been on mission
trips to San Francisco, New Mexico, Atlanta, and Monterrey, Mexico. She’s spent
her past summers (since 3rd grade) at Camp Allen, a wonderful Christian camp where
she’s fallen in love with working with kids. Now, she is a nanny and a YoungLife
leader in Austin. She loves spending time with her friends, being outside, watching
Lost, her beautiful dogs and amazing family. “I’m so excited to be in Philly, to build
relationships with people in the city, to serve, plant seeds, and to see God doing
great things.”

Rachel Miller
Rachel was born and raised in the suburbs of
Philadelphia. She is a student at Penn State University and is majoring
in secondary education and English. In the summer of 2004, Rachel traveled
to Tyumen, Siberia to work with youth at a camp. Since then, she has been
on missions trips to Atlanta and Nashville with the Christian fellowship
group she belongs to at college. Last summer, Rachel had the opportunity to
work with at-risk youth at a camp in northern Pennsylvania. One day she hopes
to turn her passion for working with youth into a career by teaching in an
inner-city school. Some of Rachel's other interests include going on adventures,
state parks, taking pictures, sewing, watching foreign films and meeting new
people. "I feel blessed to have the opportunity to work with youth in powerful
and life-changing experiences. I know that God is ready to use us and I can't
wait to see how He is going to radically reveal Himself to Philadelphia this
summer!"

Celeste Ventresca
Celeste was born and raised in the Philly suburbs. She
is a sophomore at Penn State University majoring in Spanish and World Languages
Education. She’s been on a variety of mission trips, such as an at-risk youth
outreach in Nashville, a Samaritan’s Purse disaster relief project in Mississippi,
and a Group Workcamps trip to Wisconsin. She has had the opportunity to work
with junior and senior high students in Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic,
serving as an ESL volunteer and sharing the Gospel. She loves her Christian
fellowship and Bible study at PSU and is looking forward to leading a study next
year. Celeste loves nature, exercising, eating, traveling, and acquiring new
hobbies. “It will be awesome to meet so many new people through CSM. I’m convinced
that God has amazing things planned for Philadelphia this summer. I’m thrilled
to be able share Christ’s love with others through service.”
