Jason Foster – Oakland city director

Kim Foster – San Francisco city director

Kim was born in the Bay Area and raised in Northern California so she’s gone home. Kim has an undergraduate degree from CSU in Business Administration and graduate degree in Biblical Studies from Multnomah. Jason grew up in the Salt Lake area and has a youth ministry degree from Trinity International University. They are currently making their home in the Oakland area. The last few years have found the Fosters working with deploying short–term mission teams overseas, so their experience prepares them well for CSM.

When you ask Jason and Kim why they would want to come serve Jesus in CSM they both have no hesitation in saying, “It’s the perfect fit. We get to work with youth and youth workers, which we believe is our calling and then on top of that we get to serve in the city among under–served people”.

Becky Mossman – Apprentice

Becky was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. After high school, she moved to the LA area to attend Biola University where she graduated with a degree in Intercultural Studies and Sociology in the spring of 2010. While attending Biola, Becky played for the women’s soccer team. The team had the opportunity to travel to Japan and use their gifts of soccer as a platform for ministering to the people there. Becky spent the summer before her senior year in Kenya working in a children’s home where she got to experience God’s grace and provision in amazing ways through His people. State–side, she has been involved in youth ministry through Young Life, and jumped at the chance to move to the San Francisco Bay Area to work as a city host with CSM. She has spent the previous two seasons in the Bay Area hosting with CSM and have come to thoroughly enjoy and appreciate being involved in the mission of this organization. “God’s heart for the city is so evident. My prayer for this next season is that we will be a community that seeks to know God and learn how to live as the redeemed in this place.”
