Andrew “Andy” Fox (left)San Francisco Bay Area city director

Andy grew up in Oklahoma City, OK and Shreveport, LA. He went to Louisiana Tech University, where he became interested in full time ministry and started working with the youth in a local church. Since then, Andy has been a full time youth minister in several churches throughout Louisiana. As a youth minister, Andy led four youth or college groups on CSM trips to Nashville, Houston, and Chicago. He also has been on a mission trip to Haiti and, in Spring of 2001, worked as a host for CSM Chicago. He has been married for almost three years to his wife, Heidi. He loves working with youth, leading worship, mountain biking, and watching Chicago Cubs baseball.

Heidi grew up in the Seattle area until she moved to Mandeville, LA her sophomore year of highschool. She went to the University of Louisiana at Monroe where she received a BA in Social Work and then to Louisana State University where she received an MA in Social Work. After Heidi and Andy were married, she went on staff with him working with the youth ministry in a local church. Since then, Heidi has worked in a Crisis Pregnancy Center and, most recently, for the Salvation Army. In January 2007, she joined the CSM staff, combining her passions for urban Social Work and youth ministry. In her free time, Heidi loves reading, running, and being outdoors.

Tara Tremblay

Tara TremblayOakland associate city director

Tara is originally from Attleboro, MA and graduated in May 2008 from Newbury College bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Tara organized short-term mission trips at college for three years (Habitat for Humanity excursions). She has been involved with youth in many capacities but has mostly counseled at-risk youth and helped with after school programs that promote higher education. Tara is blessed to have had the opportunity to be a part of starting the first Christian Ministry at her college. Tara enjoys fun nail polish, going out to eat, the sunshine, morning devotionals, coffee shops, laser tag, picnics and going to the gym. She has been given a heart that thrives in the city so urban ministry, which is something so important to society, comes naturally to her. “I want to share the relationship I have with God with those I encounter in the city. Since CSM does a great job bridging the gap between urban and rural communities and ministries, I think this experience will help me to bridge the gap between the East and West.”
