Sarah King
Sarah grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana and attended
Ball State University. She majored in social work, competed on the swim team,
interned at a juvenile secure care facility, and was involved with Athletes in
Action athletic ministry before graduating in 2006. The past four summers Sarah
worked at Kids Across America, a Christian sports camp for urban youth. Last
year she participated in a ministry training program, the Kanakuk Institute,
which included getting a master’s degree in Youth and Family Ministry. She
likes sports, dance, crafts, and travel. Sarah loves people and loves to laugh
and to learn new things, so she is pumped for her first experience with CSM this
fall and spring! "More importantly, God has been fueling a passion for supporting
urban teens and their families and I’m excited to get an up-close view of how
God’s people are doing this in San Francisco."
