Kristyn Weidner

Born and raised in Pottstown, PA, Kristyn is majoring in Youth Ministry/Theological Studies at Eastern University in St. Davids, PA. Kristyn is a veteran of two CSM trips, one to Nashville and one to D.C. During those trips she experienced the ministry of the city hosts that led her group and she determined to serve with CSM some day.

Craig Simon

Craig grew up in St. Johns, Michigan. He comes from a large family (six brothers and sisters and another one is on the way!). A mechanical engineering major, Craig likes to play or watch basketball. He went on a CSM trip to DC last year and is excited to introduce the city to others this summer.

Jennifer Meyer

Jennifer comes all the way from Preston, Oklahoma. She’s an exercise/sports sciences major at the University of Tulsa. Her favorite sport to play is softball, but she enjoys all sorts of physical activity, including horseback and dirt bike riding. Jennifer got the desire to serve with CSM when she came for a week to the Houston site.

Justin Hormel

Justin’s from Richmond, Virginia and just graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. You’re probably wondering what a future doctor is doing in the city, well God has placed in Justin a real passion to serve and a real love for youth. He’s worked as a youth worker for two summers and also has led an outreach by Christian athletes to tutor students in literacy in Baltimore. Also, he is related to the people who make Spam – how cool is that?

Sarah Hennessy

Sarah grew up in Wilmington, IL and is a Sociology major at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. She’s had a variety of serving opportunities from tutoring kids to welcoming people to the InterVarsity weekly meetings in college. She’s partial to Elvis Presley stuff and her favorite item is her Elvis phone that plays “Hound Dog” and shakes its hips when it’s ringing!

Sarah Haines

Sarah is our one Canadian on our DC staff. She grew up in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and is a business administration major at Atlantic Baptist University in Moncton, New Brunswick. She’s played on her University’s indoor soccer, outdoor soccer and volleyball teams for the last three years. Sarah’s brave, too—she did the “Polar Bear Dip” on New Year’s Day, jumping into the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Newfoundland—brrrr!

Holly Buckingham

Holly was born in New York but grew up in Matamoras, PA. She’s a Psychology/TESOL (ask her!) major at Messiah College in Grantham, PA. Not only has Holly served with her college team in DC, but she’s also had cross-cultural experience around the world in China (teaching English), Malawi and Brazil.
