Washington, D.C. Spring Staff 2005
|
Maryann Frodge - Maryann is from a small
city called Ludlow, Kentucky which is just outside of Cincinnati, Ohio. She is
a graduate of Western Kentucky University with a degree in Communications and
Religious Studies. Her missions experience includes trips to Atlanta, Georgia
and with CSM to Chicago. She has lead in various ways at the Christian Student
Fellowship at her university. Maryann very much enjoys people and seeing God
work through his creation. She hopes her passion for the city and for diversity
will be used this spring to touch people.
|
Laura Lynne Bender - Laura was born and raised
in New Bern, North Carolina (on the coast). She's a graduate from Appalachian State
University with degrees in Spanish and Communications. Most of her missions
experience has been over seas to Mexico and Honduras. She loves Hispanic culture,
language and food, of course! She has served as a summer youth minister in
Greensboro, NC. Her hobbies include line dancing, traveling, and enjoying the
outdoors. Her desire this spring is to encourage the students and show how valuable
their time and service can be in any town or any country.

Allison Rawls - Allison, a returning host, recently
graduated from Appalachian State with degrees in anthropology and psychology. She is
incredibly excited about being back in D.C. and is hoping to learn even more through
specific ministry sites and her work with the visiting groups. Whether or not she ends
up staying in D.C. longer term, she's excited about all of the new experiences that
this season will bring. Allison is a lover of the outdoors, coffee (former barista),
the banjo (learning to play), biking, and all that D.C. has to offer.
